CULTURE, a magazine covering entertainment and lifestyle trends in the medical cannabis community, just took a look at Pacific College’s new Online Medical Cannabis Certificate Program – the first accredited, college-level certificate of its kind in the nation. Students of the online program can expect to learn how to coach patients on the therapeutic effects of the medicine, dosing, self-titration approaches, and ingestion methods, while promoting overall health and well-being naturally.
Comprehensive Cannabis Education by Expert Faculty
In an interview with CULTURE, Program Chair Dr. Carey Clark, PhD, RN, AHN-BC, and President of the American Cannabis Nurses Association, said that the program’s coverage extends well beyond the fundamentals of medical cannabis education, into “the benefits of access to expert cannabis care clinicians at a college level, and a deep dive into not only the cannabis scientific knowledge base, but also the applied practice of providing cannabis care. Students leave the program with a sense of confidence in their knowledge and skills, and the ability to educate, support and coach medical cannabis patients to safe, effective use of cannabis for healing.”
