Personal injury recovery led Kate to massage therapy. Bodywork proved to be a powerful guide in her own healing. This experience shapes the client-centered partnerships she forms today through her trauma-informed, evidence-based approach. Kate received her AOS in Massage Therapy from Pacific College NY and holds a BA in Communication Studies from Marymount Manhattan College. She completed internships at both Joffrey Ballet School and NYU Langone’s Initiative for Women with Disabilities. Kate is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, and holds a certification in MaMassage for Labor & Postpartum massage. Kate has always been drawn to the power and potential of the human body. With a background in both dance and yoga, kinetic exploration informs and inspires her bodywork. Her aim is to move and work with each individual client, drawing from Eastern and Western techniques to help them better understand their body, reduce the effects of stress and find relief from chronic pain. Kate’s practice serves movement practitioners, new mothers, nine-to-fivers, freelancers and more.
