David Rich Sol is an Illinois licensed acupuncturist (LAc) and massage therapist (LMT), a National Guild of Hypnotist’s certified hypnotherapist (NGH-CHt) and a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer (NASM-CPT) who has been practicing bodywork and the healing arts since 1999. David specializes in acupuncture for orthopedic and pain management, Integrative Body Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy, SomatoEmotional Release, Hypnotherapy and Functional Fitness Training. Additionally, David is trained as an Intrinsic Health & Wellness Lifestyle Coach and since 2001, he has studied Traditional Chinese Medicine and Herbal Therapy; in May 2010, David earned his certification as a Professional Planetary Herbalist through the East-West School of Planetary Herbology in Ben Lomand, California.  Over the years, David has worked with a diverse group of adults, teens, children and infants. He has extensive experience working within home-based private practice, integrative centers, medical and chiropractic clinics, medical and fitness settings including hospital-based fitness centers, a children’s hospital and a hospice.

In addition to his clinical practice, David is an associate professor and has taught since 2001. For over 5 years, he had served as the Director of Education at The New School For Massage, Bodywork and Healing in Chicago. Currently, in addition to maintaining a small private practice, David is the Dean of Undergraduate Studies at the Pacific College of Health and Science in Chicago, Illinois. He teaches in both the massage therapy certificate program and the doctoral degree programs.
