Pacific College is seeking a dynamic individual for the full-time (30 hours per week/up to 40 hours as needed) position of Career Services Coordinator at our San Diego campus.
General Job Summary:
The Career Services Coordinator (CSC) provides excellent customer service to current and graduating students primarily overseeing and assisting with the transition from student to graduate. The CSC will also take the lead on the annual graduation event and provide support to the lead of the Pacific Symposium event.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Provide career advisement for students
- Maintain and develop relationships with employers
- Assist with providing resources for placement
- Provide information about exams, licensure, and joining the Pacific College Alumni network
- Complete graduate exit surveys
- Assist with coordinating the San Diego Graduation ceremony
- Develop a jobs program for current students at acupuncture and massage offices
- Oversee Massage graduate gift program
- Oversee the annual graduation event in July/August
- Vendor relations & ongoing communication
- Liaison between vendors & Campus Director for approval on contracts
- Organization of graduation items needed for the event
- Communication & oversight of graduation volunteers
- Communication with students, staff, and faculty leading up to the graduation event
- Event Support for the annual Pacific Symposium event in October/November
- Facilitate outreach events for current students and alumni including annual job fairs.
Minimum/Required Qualifications:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven ability to multi-task and meet established deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to use tact, poise, patience, and courtesy
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
Work Environment: The work environment characteristics are representative of those an employee encounters while performing essential functions of the job in a typical office/workstation situation. Able to work sitting or standing at a desk and operate a computer using keyboard and reading information on a monitor.

Salary Range: $18.50 per hour – $20.00 per hour
