Pacific College is seeking a positive individual for the position of full-time Admissions Coordinator at our New York campus. This position is hybrid, with at least 2-3 days per week required at the New York campus. Must also be able to work some Saturdays for student proctoring needs.
General Job Summary:
The Admissions Coordinator (AC) provides administrative support to the Admissions department and represents the College in a positive and professional manner. This person also conducts database management and file audits, collects documents, and manages student files.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
CRM Management/Admissions Support Responsibilities:
The CRM management part of this role is the primary role within the position.
- Database management as needed in both CampusVue and Salesforce
- Assisting the Admissions Team in document collection
- Collecting and uploading documents to the CRM
- Conducting file audits within the CRM systems
- Preparing weekly reports
- Tracking all required documents
- Sending application acknowledgement letter with pending information
- Communicating with new applicants about any pending admissions documents
- Updating applicant status changes in CRM systems
- Creating form letters and communication templates
- Willingness to be trained to make outbound and/or receive inbound admissions calls
- Organizing and maintaining inventory of supplies and promotional materials
PBSN Program Proctoring Responsibilities:
- Proctoring TEAS exams for the PBSN applicants
- Multiple times per week including some Saturdays
- Greeting & managing the test launch, including setting expectations with the test-takers
- Calling to confirm or modify prospective-student appointments
- Facilitating compliant test-taking in an on-site test center
Miscellaneous Responsibilities:
- Participating in campus cleaning; ensuring the college keeps a neat, organized, and professional environment.
- Representing the college positively at all times
- Other duties as assigned by supervisors
Minimum/Required Qualifications:
Job Skills:
- Required: Proficient skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Preferred: Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Skype, and how to mail merge
Education and Attributes:
- High School graduate
- Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate tactfully and professionally.
- Must be motivated and determined.
- Must be a team player, ready to wear many hats.
- Must have a positive attitude with the ability to adapt to change.
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics are representative of those an employee encounters while performing essential functions of the job in a typical office/workstation situation. Able to work sitting or standing at desk and operate a computer using keyboard and reading information on a monitor.
Salary: $20.00 per hour
