(he/him)
After years of living with challenging chronic pain with little relief,
Matt became interested in health in order to empower himself.
Through studying everything he could find on the science of pain,
movement, massage, psychology, and neurophysiology, Matt greatly
improved his quality of life. In sharing his experience and
understanding with others he also found his passion in helping
people to be in better control of their own health and wellness
through education, massage, and movement. Matt’s writing and
speaking about pain and movement has gained him international
recognition from doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors, trainers,
coaches, and fellow massage therapists.
Matt has worked as a massage therapist for Body Mechanics
Orthopedic Massage since 2015, where he treats people ranging from
complex chronic pain patients to athletes and office workers.
Additionally, he helps to train and educate fellow therapists on the
skills and information needed to deliver client-centered science-based
treatment.
