Congratulations to Pacific College alumna Dr. Pia Franco on her feature in San Diego Magazine! Dr. Franco first graduated from Pacific College’s San Diego campus with her master’s of science in acupuncture, then continued on to earn her doctorate in acupuncture and cosmetic acupuncture certification from Pacific College. The author of the article received a facial acupuncture treatment from Dr. Franco at Oh Glory, a holistic spa in San Diego’s North Park neighborhood. The treatment was not limited to needling: it also included pulse diagnosis, microcurrent and LED light therapy, and facial gua sha.

Dr. Pia Franco“I’m always grateful for any opportunity to shine light on cosmetic acupuncture! This is something I’m incredibly passionate about, and I want more people to know how profound this route of healing can be. As TCM practitioners, we not only have the ability to help patients address their cosmetic concerns, but we are also guiding them through a journey of self-discovery, self-acceptance, and self-empowerment. Hopefully this article in San Diego Magazine entices readers to explore facial acupuncture!”
