Talcott, Elizabeth, DAOM, LAc

Dr. Elizabeth Talcott completed her undergraduate work in Physics at UCSD, her MTOM degree Summa Cum Laude at PCHS San Diego, and successfully defended her doctoral work in 2013 titled, Enhancement of Traditional Chinese Medical Education with Japanese Meridian Therapy. Elizabeth has been a member of PCHS’s faculty since 2001, both teaching and supervising interns in the college clinic. Together with K.C. Conover, she has developed the Japanese Acupuncture curriculum at PCHS. This includes the styles of Meridian Therapy as taught by Ikeda Masakazu Sensei and Shudo Denmei Sensei, along with Kampo Herbal medicine. Elizabeth has traveled to Japan numerous times to further her studies by observing in the clinics of Ikeda Sensei and Shudo Sensei. She continues her education by attending yearly private instruction with Ikeda Sensei as well as group workshops. She maintains a private practice in La Mesa, CA practicing the Japanese style.
