Bezkor, Edward W., PT, DPT, OCS, MTC

Dr. Bezkor has been in practice since 1998. He joined the PCHS team with 14 years of clinical experience from the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine NYU Medical Center, a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St Augustine, FL and a Masters of Physical Therapy from Springfield College, MA. His advanced educational and professional recognitions include: Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, Certified Manual Therapist, Certified Vestibular Therapist and Certified Tai Chi Moving For Better Balance Instructor. His prior professional appointments include providing expert editorial content and critiquing highly technical pieces as a member of Rehab Management Magazine’s Editorial Advisory Board. Dr. Bezkor has been published in a number of journals and textbooks, presented at national conferences and has appeared on Good Morning America and BronxNet Community Television. Dr. Bezkor is honored to be involved at a number of levels in the production of the first ever multimedia edition of the textbook Physical Rehabilitation. This influential textbook is referenced and utilized by students and medical practitioners around the world. As the Case Study and Multimedia Editor, Dr. Bezkor is responsible for facilitating multimedia case study submissions from leading rehabilitation centers and reviewing and editing the content. He is also coauthoring a chapter on Parkinson’s Disease and contributing his own multimedia case study. Dr. Bezkor’s scholarly pursuits and research are balanced between Western Allopathic medicine and global healing traditions such as Oriental Medicine, Ayurvedic Medicine, yoga, meditation, healing touch, Gua Sha and Oriental acupressure.
