Asian Body Therapy Programs - Chicago

Bachelor of Health Science (Asian Holistic Health & Massage)

The purpose of the Bachelor completion program is to prepare students for employment in fields of Asian holistic health and massage.

The Bachelor of Health Science in Asian Holistic Health and Massage (Chicago) comprises 14.5 units of preparatory course work, plus 60 units of upper division course work. Students who have not previously completed the following preparatory courses or
equivalent will take them at Pacific College:

• Anatomy 1
• Foundations of Chinese Medicine
• Fundamentals of Chinese Medicine 1
• Public Safety, Business and Ethics
• Tui Na Hand Techniques
• Tui Na Structural Techniques
* Students must take an 8-hour CPR/First Aid Course in order to take clinical courses.

In addition, they will complete a minimum of 60 units of upper division courses. At least 20 units must be from the Oriental Medicine course titles and 20 units from the Massage course titles. The remaining 20 units may from either category. Refer to the Oriental
Medicine Chart of Courses in Part Two of the catalog for course requirements.
