How to transfer FA
|
How to Apply for Financial Aid If you are a Continuing Student Stafford loans are processed every two semesters. It’s important for you to keep record of your financial aid award and be aware of when the next semester application is due. The FA Office will do our best to notify you when it is time to apply, but do not depend on us alone. Check with our office if you are unsure of when to apply. For students who had a Winter/Spring loan (January thru August) it is time to re-apply for the Fall 2008 and Winter 2009 semesters. To do this you need to: Print complete and submit the Fall08/Winter09 FA Certification Form (pdf) If you are a Pacific College borrower, complete a new Master Promissory Note* * Effective October 1st congress enacted legislation that no longer makes the School as Lender Program a viable option. Students who previously used Pacific College as their lender will need to complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN) with a different lender. The lenders who remain on our website under Stafford Loan are still currently paying the origination fee for students. We don’t know how long this benefit will continue and we cannot guarantee that by the time the loan is certified this information will not have changed.” For students who have a Spring/Fall loan, we do not need a new FAFSA. The current 07-08 FAFSA is sufficient. In October and November, we will ask you to complete the 2008-2009 FAFSA.
