Massage Scholarships

Jeannette Rankin Women's Scholarship Fund

The Jeannette Rankin Scholarship is a great opportunity for low-income women over 35 who are returning to school to pursue various career paths. This scholarship allows these women to pursue their associate or first bachelor's degree or attend a technical or vocational school. So it's perfect for women who are interested in a massage therapy career. There were 78 grants awarded in 2006 to recipients in the amount of $2,000.

NursingHomeAbuse.net Awareness and Prevention Scholarship

A healthcare scholarship - the first of its kind - was created to financially assist U.S. students committed to raising awareness and preventing nursing home abuse.  Any student enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution is eligible to apply; however, this scholarship is particularly suited for students studying nursing, social work, psychology, or healthcare administration. The applicant must also be receiving some form of need-based aid (such as Subsidized Direct Stafford Loan, Federal Work-Study, Pell Grant). The scholarship will help pay for non-tuition related living expenses that are not covered by the recipient’s current financial aid.

American Association of Colleges of Nursing

CampusRN/AACN Nursing Scholarship Fund
For students who are enrolled in a BSN, master's or doctoral degree program in nursing at an AACN member school. Special consideration will be given to students who are enrolled in a master's or doctoral program with the goal of pursuing a nursing faculty career, or who are completing an RN-to-BSN program or are enrolled in an accelerated baccalaureate or mater's degree nursing program. Health Professions Scholarship Program
Open to full- and part-time American Indian and Alaska Native students seeking an undergraduate or graduate education in the health care field; priority is given to graduate students and junior- and senior-level undergrad students.
