Pacific College Launches Expansive New Website On March 3, 2003 Pacific College of Oriental Medicine launched its newly re-designed website at: www.PacificCollege.edu. The new site features a fresh look, easy navigation and expanded services for prospective and current students, alumni, clinic patients, news media and the general public. Features of interest to new visitors of the site include an in-depth introduction to the college and profession or Oriental medicine; Frequently Asked Questions for clinic patients and prospective students; profiles of real students and alumni; virtual tours of each campus; class descriptions and schedules; upcoming college events; information on financial aid and housing; and downloadable catalogs, applications, coupons, and maps. Special services for alumni have also been added. Pacific alumni will now be able to post classifieds, request official records, browse alumni meeting minutes, and search the archives of Oriental Medicine. "We are excited to launch our new website. We've taken the time to carefully consider the needs of our students, alumni, and faculty and how we may better serve them. The accessibility of the Internet makes providing important information and services easy, and we're happy to be able to do it. I'm proud of our employees' contributions to the site development. They've done a great job," commented Pacific's President, Jack Miller. Additional services scheduled to be implemented in upcoming months include an Alumni and Practitioner Locator service, student and alumni discussion forums, online class and Symposium registration, updateable alumni contact information and searchable staff and faculty lists.
